Rosa, the studio assistant in Aurant
Rosa is the studio assistant built into Aurant. Ask her in plain English or French and she reads your galleries, folders, clients, quotes and invoices and prepares the work. Anything that would reach a client, or change work your client can already see, is left as a card you confirm — so she can do the admin without ever speaking for you by accident.
No card, and the Free plan does not expire.
Ask in your own words
Rosa sits in the studio, beside the work. Open her and type what you need, in English or French:
- Cull Saturday's wedding folder.
- Propose a gallery from the Kinshasa shoot.
- What do I know about this client?
Type @ and a name to point her at one gallery, folder, project or client, and / for her commands.
She works only where you do: this workspace, with what you can see and do in it. When she finishes she shows the steps she took — the workspace she looked up, the photos she searched, the folder she culled, the gallery she proposed, the text she drafted — each marked Done or Needs you, so there is no part of the job you cannot see.
Each chat remembers what was said in it, and she looks back through your earlier chats when you mention one. Start a new chat for something unrelated.
Nothing reaches your client without you
This is the rule the whole feature is built on, and it is not a setting: anything that would reach a client — a reply to an inquiry, a gallery email, a payment reminder, a review request — waits as a card for you to confirm. You can edit the words first, or decline it. Nothing is sent without you.
Where she acts on your own work rather than on a client, she still proposes: a cull is picks and rejects you open and change, a gallery is a draft you review in the builder before anybody sees it.
The queue of what needs you
Rosa checks the studio every fifteen minutes and leaves a card when something has come up: a new inquiry, an invoice that is late, a gallery nobody has opened, a client worth following up for prints, a review or a rebooking, and a shoot ready to be prepared.
Each card is one piece of admin with the work already done — the reply written in your tone, the reminder with the payment link, the nudge with the gallery link — so the decision in front of you is yes, edit, or no.
- Every job asks you first. After ten approvals of that kind with no changes, you may let Rosa send that one herself and tell you after. Until then she cannot, and the app says so.
- The after-shoot job only ever prepares. It culls the folder and proposes the gallery; you review it and send it yourself.
- A job your own workflow already covers stays quiet, so the two never both act.
Rosa's jobs come with Pro. On Free and Basic you can still ask her for anything yourself — it is the unprompted checking that the plan carries.
She learns your studio, from you
Six questions, about two minutes: who your ideal clients are and what you mostly shoot, how fast a new inquiry should hear back, how long after a shoot a gallery arrives, how you want to sound, how you sign off, and anything she should never do or promise.
Your answers sit beside what your studio's data already says — your booking types, your payment settings, your website — and your own words win. You can read the exact text she reads before every request, and change any of it, on What Rosa knows.
She also learns from being corrected. Edit one of her drafts and she asks whether to remember how you changed it; say yes and her drafts follow it from then on. Say no and it was just that once.
Rosa on your own website
On the Ultimate plan, Rosa can also answer visitors on your published portfolio — a button in the corner of your own site, off until you switch it on in Settings › AI features.
- She answers from your public details only: your packages, your prices, your policies and your booking page. Not your clients' records.
- She says she is your AI assistant, in her first line.
- When a visitor wants to talk, she offers three times for the free call on your booking page and books the one they pick, with its usual confirmation email.
- When she cannot answer, the visitor leaves a name and an email and the conversation arrives with you as an ordinary inquiry.
The visitor's conversation is kept in their own browser, for that tab, until they send it to you. On the same plan she answers your clients in their portal, from their own sessions, invoices, contracts and galleries — and anything that needs you, like a change, a discount or a refund, she passes to you instead, and stays quiet while you are in the conversation.
Where Rosa answers someone for you, their messages go to Anthropic too: a visitor's messages with your public details on your website, and a client's messages with their own records in their portal. The app says so beside each of those two switches before you turn either on.
What it costs you to turn on
Rosa is part of Aurant's AI features, which are off until you turn them on and read what is shared: your requests, and the names and titles she looks up, go to Anthropic. Turning her on also switches on what she works with — the writing assistant, smart search, auto-tagging and descriptions with the closed-eye check, and gallery drafts. Face search stays off, because it is about other people's faces and is its own decision.
Every plan includes an allowance of requests a month, counted per completed request however many steps it takes, and enforced on the server. The allowance for each plan is on every plan, beside everything else it includes.
A month of her work is summarised in the app and in an email on the first — what she answered, what she chased, and how long it would have taken you.
The rest of the studio, in the same account
Rosa works on what is already there: client galleries at full resolution, contracts and a booking page on every plan, quotes and invoices paid online, films beside the photographs, and a portfolio built from work you have delivered. Everything is in English and French, in the app and on every page your clients open.
Questions.
- Can Rosa email my clients by herself?
- Not until you let her. Anything that would reach a client waits as a card for you to confirm, and you can edit the words first or decline it. After ten approvals of one kind of job with no changes, you may let her send that kind herself and tell you after — and you can take it back.
- What does Rosa do without being asked?
- She checks the studio every fifteen minutes for new inquiries, late invoices, galleries nobody has opened, clients worth following up for prints, reviews or a rebooking, and shoots ready to prepare, and leaves a card for each. The checking comes with Pro; on any plan you can ask her for anything yourself.
- Which plans include the studio assistant?
- Every plan includes an allowance of requests a month — the figure for each is on the pricing page. Rosa's unprompted jobs come with Pro, and answering visitors on your own website and clients in their portal comes with Ultimate.
- Where does my data go?
- Your requests, and the names and titles Rosa looks up, go to Anthropic. Where she answers someone for you, their messages go too — a visitor's with your public details, a client's with their own records. AI features are off until you turn them on, and you read what is shared before you can. The workspace owner can delete the tags, descriptions, alt text and face indexes AI has created, in Settings › AI features, which switches AI features off at the same time.
- Does Rosa read my clients' private records to answer visitors on my website?
- No. On your public portfolio she answers from your public details only — your packages, prices, policies and booking page — and she says she is your AI assistant. Your clients' own records are used only in their own portal, with them.
- Does she learn how I write?
- From two things you control. Six questions about your studio, which you can change any time, and your edits: when you change one of her drafts she asks whether to remember how, and only follows it if you say yes.
- What happens when I run out of requests for the month?
- Rosa stops making new ones until the allowance resets, and the app tells you the date. Nothing already prepared is lost, and nothing is sent in the meantime.
