Switching from ShootProof

There is no automatic import from ShootProof, so the move starts with your original files: the ones on your drive, or downloaded from your galleries. Upload them to Aurant at full resolution and build each gallery from the same files. If you have a lot to move, we will help you plan it.

Is Aurant cheaper than ShootProof?
It depends on what you need. Aurant’s paid plans start at £9 a month with 200 GB; ShootProof’s start at $8.33 a month billed annually, or $9.99 monthly, with 20 GB (as of October 2026). If you need online booking, ShootProof sells it as an add-on, while Aurant includes booking pages on every plan. Check ShootProof’s current prices on their site.
Can I sell prints with Aurant?
Not today. Aurant has no print store or lab integration; from Basic, you can sell digital downloads from a gallery if you choose to, at your price, and Aurant takes no cut. If print and product sales are a big part of your income, ShootProof’s store is the stronger choice.
Can I bring my ShootProof galleries over?
There is no automatic import. You upload your original files and build galleries from them, at full resolution. If you have a lot to move, tell us where your galleries are and we will help you plan it.
Can I deliver videos on the free plan?
On Aurant, yes: the free plan takes films as well as photographs, and clients watch them straight from the link. ShootProof’s free plan is for photos only (as of October 2026); its paid plans include video.
Is Aurant available in French?
Yes, fully: the app you work in, and the galleries and pages your clients open, are in English and French. ShootProof’s client galleries can also be shown in French, among 13 languages.
